Lid Ready to Come Off Fast and Furious Gunwalking Scandal
ATF whistleblower Vince Cefalu, who called attention to the Obama Administration's policy of undermining the Second Amendment by helping foreign criminals smuggle American guns into Mexico, has unsurprisingly been fired:
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is being accused of retaliating against an agent who helped publicize the agency's role in allowing thousands of guns to cross the U.S. border and fall into the hands of Mexican drug gangs.
The agent, Vince Cefalu, who has spoken out about the ATF's so-called "Project Gunrunner" scandal, says he was served with termination papers just last week, and he calls the move politically motivated.
The weapons smuggling scheme, which has gotten American agents killed, was politically motivated too — as is everything inflicted by the current administration.
Unfortunately for the Community Organizer in Chief, canning Cefalu isn't going to keep a lid on a scandal that makes Watergate look like a parking violation. ATF chief Kenneth Melson — whom Obama has tried to throw under the bus — will be testifying before Congress: [link] [link] [link]
Um, Mr. Potus, this whole "executive privilege" thing looks like a CYA to me. You don't do that kind of thing unless you're guilty as charged. If you were innocent, and if Holder was doing his job, you would have coughed up the freaking documents. Now he's being held in contempt (STFU, Nancy Pelosi about your "voter oppression" BS) and you're looking very much like Nixon indeed.
Y'know, there was something similar during the Bush administration...only, under Bush, the guns had GPS tracking, the guns sold to the cartels were few, it was approved by the Mexican government, and, when there was a chance of Mexican casualties, the operation was stopped. In Fast and Furious, there was NO method of tracking, pumped THOUSANDS of American assault rifles, had NO approval whatsoever, and seemed to DEPEND on there being HUNDREDS Mexican casualties.
You know that little hot spot that makes you feel angry? That's called "moral outrage". Hold onto that spot, it's what makes you strong. I feel that...and that "little hot spot" is FAR from being little.
Children and teens were killed with some of those guns, and a US border agent, whose family was spat in their faces by this administration and denied information.
And a few days ago, the media celebrated the 40th anniversary of Watergate while blowing off this scandal. I think that one of my political heroes, Bill Whittle, said it best: "Have you no shame?"
Totally Not Surprising... this is another case like the Waco Massacre that was contrived by the nazi ATF/DOJ/FBI fascists for an excuse to Ban Guns. They don't give a shit who gets Killed (even if it's their own Lackeys) as long as Fearmongering can be done to deprive the Citizens of their Rights.
